Yoga and self compassion for beginners
My yoga practice started when I was in a very ugly place in my life, but it eventually led me to love and accept myself much more. I share a little bit about my journey to body kindness through yoga, in this blog post on Courage Love Intensity.
This summer I co-created an online yoga course for people who want to start yoga but have been nervous because, like I was, they feel intimidated or self-critical. This program, called Yoga Basics, centers on mindfulness and self compassion. It's the introduction to yoga I wish I had: body positive, safe, and supportive.
